BACK SQUAT 1RM

back squat
5 x 1

recover then-

back squat @ 50% 1RM
3 x 3
perform the following for each set:
-during 1st rep, hold bottom position precisely 3secs
-during 2nd rep, hold bottom position precisely 2secs
-during 3rd rep, hold bottom position precisely 1sec
rest 2mins between sets

post 1RM or heaviest load to comments

  1. 6am. Left the box pissed, and it left me with scrapes on my back...Todays 1RM = 365. Fail 2x @ 385 (would have been a Squat PR since starting CrossFit)

    1RM = 130# ---> gay! I can do/have done multiple reps w/ more weight via front squat...WTFF?!! Back squats have officially made it to the top of my "To Do Better" list...
