Soooo.... Last time I did 85# in7.57 I believe and this time I did 155# 9.47..pretty good improvement... Will keep workin on the weight, had it at 185 and had to cut back a little.
First time at this one, hard to believe that there are still benchmarks that I haven't tackled yet, I guess it's true what they say about selective Crossfitting...rx. 5:27
karen thought it was cool watching Dan, Steve, and brian box jump over 46"..And BethAnne was awesome at her jumps too! I was happy to get the med box + couple of plates! mod hspu 8:0?
TMFJ RX 6:17. When I came the first thing said to me was from Dan he said " I jumped to 46in on the box jumps , so I took this as a challenge. Well Dan I jumped to 50in , screw my diane time Ive got a 50in box jump, thats what I took away that day. Man it feels good to be back.
Location: UNF track Time: high noon True wind: negligible Humidity: significant Event: semi annual PRT mod, rest Objective: conduct event in less than favorable conditions and compare times and scores.
1.5 mi run 11:23 60 sec rest 58 push ups consecutive 2 min cap 30 sec rest 48 sit ups 2 min cap, "not a good time"
The heat played less of a limiting factor than the reduced rest between the 3 movements.
Parting note: One of the first things that captured my intrest in my starting crossfit was the "what if scenario". IE, what if you were in a fight for your life and how would you fare. Could your level of fitness play a role in your life expectancy? I think yes, in a big way. Another factor to consider I seriously doubt that we will be provided any designated rest periods in this fight. TRAIN HARDER.
