  3. bw 195 zone is working, leaning out again but the repercussions are a loss in strength. Struggled with all three weights. Trying to find a happy medium between diet and performance.

  4. this is sure enough a good question Steve. in truth you typically look to add body weight to add strength. that is why weight lifters eat massive amounts of protein. to gain muscle mass. as we have all heard a million times, muscle weighs more than fat. so go figure adding strength and loosing weight on a restricted calorie diet.

    i was riding Sunday after 2 really hard days and the heat and cutting weight (elimination of my beloved dense carbs) have combined to make me weak. as Karen and i pounded down A1A i told her i sure miss that elevated insulun level now. thanks Doc Sears. my body long ago forgot how to burn fat for fuel, burning stored sugar instead. alas, after a week there is no more stored sugar.

    the easy answer for endurance is that over time your body will learn to burn fat for fuel again. not sure there is an easy answer for strength.

    100, 110, 120.failed on last lift or so
    box jumps and no clap real push ups 6:??..very tired..probably should have taken day off..oh well, maybe tomorrow!
