  3. I'm not sure what the heaviest load I moved today was, but I know 385 didn't move off the deck. I tend to prioritize my posts to when I pr or some other feats of greatness but today I will humble myself and succumb to failure...or was it? Maybe someone reads this and says it's alright to not hit a pr every lift and draws the positive from what they did accomplish. Large loads have been a hinderance to me lately, especially those involving the posterior chain as well as a fear factor regarding my lumbar region as the doctors have successfully "got in my head". The follow up EMOM consisted of a load of 315 with what I felt was near perfect form. 410 went up 3 months ago but I would be scared to know what it looked like. Sometimes it's necessary to take a few steps back to move forward.

  7. steve-
i think posts like yours today are as important as the other type. we can't ALWAYS have a positive outcome but reflecting on what went wrong and learning from it helps to increase the number of pr's we do experience.
