this workout is courtesy of CrossFit Daytona, so many thanks goes out to Rob/Melissa for formulating this one together. meghan and i actually did this workout last weekend when we made a day trip to their box. trust me, i know how you guys felt on this one.

several individuals i'd like to highlight from today's work:

neil is back on leave from boot camp in the navy. he is currently in the SEAL training pipeline. we wish him and former member rodney good luck on their goal and journey to the Teams.

it was good to see the familiar smiling face of christina. after graduating physical therapy school, she relocated to Rome, GA and is back in the area for the holidays. thanks for stopping by, christina and for bringing in angie. you two did a great job today. don't be a stranger.

last but not least, a big thank you to chuck who is currently a CrossFit HQ traveling certification trainer and heads up most East Coast Level 1 seminars. he is also the same chuck who played cornerback and was infamous for his punt returns for the georgia bulldogs back in the early 90's (my bad bro...don't mean to throw your age out there lol) and played a short stint in the NFL. it was an honor to have you stop by our hole in the wall and sweat it out with us today. kai had a blast with your son, caleb. hopefully it won't be long until we throwdown again. i hope your partner today, and our own caleb, didn't push you too hard. thanks again brother.

  2. It was great to be back in the CFJ box Chris, and to see your familiar face! Angie enjoyed the pounding as well and felt welcomed by the CF family - she'd like for her fiance to try it sometime...so maybe they'll be back up to see ya :D Good to meet Chuck and cool that he's in the same neck of the woods I've migrated to.

I anticipate going through Florida withdrawals as I make the return to the hills of Northwest GA. I look forward to visiting CFJ again in the new year!

God Bless - only the hard, only the strong ;D

  3. Some very nice times. Hope everyone at your box had fun with that one. For all those who played...i too know the pain, and loved it.

Chris, my next wod is going to be your BW deads/cleans...i am and am not looking forward to it. not to mention i have your daunting time hanging over my head. the next 16 hours are going to be spent listening to manic music at ear splitting volume and carpet bombing Wal-Marts to psyche myself up.
