the concept on this wod was to work towards a 3RM on deadlift. the second portion was to utilize ONE BAR loaded with one's bodyweight and perform the rep scheme prescribed.

its understood that not everyone can perform the exercises @ bodyweight, hence having two bars scaled with two different loads. the importance of moving one's own bodyweight through different paths whether it be lifting, pushing, pulling, throwing, carrying or any and all means is just as important as a 5, 3 or 1 rep max. we all should strive to move our bodyweight as an external load in addition to our own bodies (or in conjunction with) with every movement. sounds like a great new years resolution/goal...get on it.
