Oh to be back in the box with everyone! I was hoping to be back sooner than later working out with everyone, but it looks as though I have another 3 weeks of therapy to go on this busted ankle then back to the doctor. I tried running and that didnt work so well, apparently my ankle didnt want to work with me instead it worked against me! Hope to see you guys soon!
Let me first explain how these acts of kindness are administered.
Step 1. You have no idea what is headed your way, ie. How heavy, how many, what movement.
Step 2. Here is how it went today.
Run 1 mile, off I go, wondering what task is next. As I return to the box, the vest is donned and told start doing box jumps. Then instructed to start doing thrusters. Then 50 sledge hammers, the vest is taking it's toll. Out of the corner of my eye I see the kb, great. Like my breathing is not maxed out enough. Guess I needed a few more sledge hammers, do 20 more. Now do 20 kbs. The vest is crushing me. I have no idea what the next task will be but my head is on fire. Then instructed go run 800m and yeah keep the vest on. Time 18 min and some change.
Nice times guys! Just like "The Shop Chipper" cfjax put the carrot way out in front. You guys are the first ones to do that one. We'll all be doing it here at The Shop on Saturday. Kinda wish we were waiting to take it on fresh instead of doing it after the other two events but that luxury will have to wait.
