REST

pick any lift or movement and read about it. look it up on the internet and watch video on it to see other's performing the same movement. get a better understanding of the how, why and if applicable, when.

after doing this, apply it to your everday life. what do i mean by this? i want you to do the same with your job, relationship, kids & family. pick any aspect of each and read/watch/listen about it in order to improve it. everybody can do what they do better than how they've been doing it. and men, yes, this includes us.

no one is perfect. but we can endlessly pursue and strive for it.

what are your goals in crossfit? do you have any at all? if not, should you? or are you just showing up 'to work' and going through the motions?

  1. Goals.

    Overall, general, all-round fitness.

I've always has weight issues and now that I seem to have the some of that under control, I want to do more. Not just lose weight, but try and get into a healthier state of mind. Once I have that mindset, it'll flow into everything else in my life and whatever I do - work/ home etc.

I've been to the "dark side" of being lazy, completely unfit with absolutely no stamina - and I do not wanna go back there again. Doing this for a couple of weeks has shown me how much I have to catch up with and how wide the gap is between where I am and where I want to be - but I am looking forward to improving in whatever measure I can.

PS: That photo with Turbo and Chris is awesome, btw! All you guys are missing is a couple of mirrors and the obligatory cell-phone/ book.
