warm up

pull ups x 5
push ups x 10
air squats x 15

samson stretch 30secs each side x 2

400m run

workout

3 rounds for time of:
25m walking lunges
25m bear crawl
25m duck walk
25m burpee broadjumps
25m crab walk

post total time for score.

how did you hear about CrossFit? how long have you been doing it? do you remember your first workout and what it was like?

  1. Sure... April 08/ Louder than 10 w/16kg KB 22min. Been doing boxing training prior 5 months and prior to that 15 years of nothing. Intro from a guy at the office. 30lbs lighter now and feel good at 40! This shit works!

  2. I heard about Crossfit tru a website called OFFICER.COM where cops go talk about general stuff. I started doing Crossfit in Nov 07 in Phoenix, AZ, but it wasn't until months later that I really fell in love with it. My relationship with Crossfit completely changed after joining CFJAX in August 08. I remember my first workout, how could I ever forget it?! LOL it wasn't even a workout, really, but it felt hard at the time and I was super sore the next day! LOL damn... ;-)

I heard about Crossfit from a family member in October 2008…we both enjoyed working out and he kept telling me about a gym in Mayport where they did handstand push-ups and many other crazy workouts……once I saw the website…I was very intrigued…I can’t tell you how many times I watched the videos…it’s kind of funny…the first time I came in to speak with Meghan…I saw Chris..it was kind of like seeing a famous person..I kept thinking to myself…that’s the Asian guy from the videos doing what I know now as muscle-ups ..…..I started cfjax at the end of December 2008…my first workout was CINDY..I did 8 rounds….and puked…..good memories…Ryan

  5. My first introduction to CF was through a college buddy who lives in Mass. I searched for a local affiliate and found CFJAX. I was a little intimidated to be honest after watching some of the videos, namely "Crucible". I conjured the courage to give Meghan a call to set up my initial meeting and 4 months later, I am still in one piece. My first official WOD was "Filthy Fifty"...talk about an indoctrination to the world of CrossFit. The WOD was scaled to 30 reps for me and was totally beat down when I finished. Just a few weeks ago, I completed "Filthy Fifty" prescribed (50 reps) and easily beat my time from 30 reps before...so, you can say I drink the CFJAX "Kool-Aid"...
