It is still a NEW YEAR! And New Year's Resolutions for some can be serious business when it comes to fitness. But for the majority of America, I think you'll be hard pressed to find someone who carries out their so-called resolution for the entire "new year", wouldn't you say? As we cross the threshold of the first 30 days of the year, people are slowly crawling back into to their regular routines, and these resolutions are more of "what could have been but I just can't keep it up". Believe me when I tell you, I am a total believer and advocate in this concept of starting fresh and making some huge changes to go along with our change in the calendar. It's a new year! Hell, it's MONDAY! It makes sense! But let's go about it the right way. On December 31st, when you toasted your loved ones at midnight with a glass of champagne, and everything is sparkles and glitter, it's not enough just to say, "This is my year! I'm really going to make it happen!" Whatever "IT" is for you, your Coaches want to know. Saying it out loud, writing it down on paper, and putting it out into the universe, is a great first step, of course. But now what? You need a plan, we all do. We need to put some steps in place, action items if you will.
Start small! Maybe something small, a daily goal. Once you've mastered that, move towards something a little broader - weekly or monthly goals. Create steps you can take to keep yourself on the track toward sweet success. And here is the GREAT news: you are a part of the CFJAX family, the very best community of people to help you do just that. We all have different goals, a different timeline, different factors that contribute to our day to day successes and struggles. But we are ALL here for one huge reason. We want to change our lives for the better. We want things we've only ever imagined. This doesn't have to be a year with another failed or forgotten resolution. This could be the year that changes the rest of your life.
