THE SENIOR CHIEF

max rounds in 3mins of:
165# squat clean thrusters x 3
c2b pull ups x 4
*plyo-push ups x 5

rest 1min then repeat for a total of 5 cycles.
post total work (completed rounds + reps) for score.

*plyo-push up starts at the top of the push up position, elbows locked out. perform full ROM push up lowering chest/hips/thighs to ground. once reaching this bottom position, explode up by pushing the ground away until arms straighten, elbows lock out and hands come off ground.

  4. Dustin bw 172 6rounds 2 reps. Started rx then dropped 20lbs after a round or two. Been above 10k feet the last week and really thought that it would be easier to come back to sea level. Guess just being at altitude doesnt cut it if all you are doing is snowboarding, eating, and sleeping.

    Getting my wisdome teeth out tomorrow but will hopefully be back the day after. I obviously need to get back to it after todays showing or lack there of. Just couldnt motivate myself.

    I was happy with my result due to fact that squat cleans and thrusters are by far my weakest lifts. I have never been comfortable with the range of motion, but something clicked in this workout and I was able to actaually perform the movements without pausing between cleaning and squating. Thanks to Jon for the great coaching and hope to increase the weight as I progress with this movement.
